“wiping out credit card debt”

I guess I don’t have to worry so much about money anymore, but the two unemployment stints since I moved to Orlando have made me too skittish to feel secure. I’ve got like seven thousand dollars saved up, enough to immediately wipe out half of my credit card debt, and I still feel like I’ve got nothing.
I think I’m getting close to some changes, but perhaps I’m getting lost in the details, and I just can’t seem to get out of the state I’ve been in. I need to get organized if I’m going to get out of this house, and out of this town. I’m close, but I still can’t see the other side.
