Question by simpleheart: should I tell collection agencies that I have contacted Consumer Credit Counselors? My phone rings 50 times a day, because of credit trouble, unemployment and medical bills, I contacted CCCS, but forgot to ask if I should tell the collectors I contacted them. Any ideas? Question by Catherine: Can consumer credit counselors really negotiate debt? A co worker of mine said that she had several thousand dollars in debt and she said she is only paying a fraction.
