in Secured homeowner loans

i currently own a trailor that i am selling and would like to purchase a new home. i wondered if i could still qualify for the grant. my loan is only secured by the land my trailor sits on because the bank said the trailor wasnt worth enough. my boyfriend has never owned a home and we would like to purchase one together. anything you know about the grant would help. thanks for helping with our dream!!

HOW is the trailer attached to the lot?

Oh and since someone else will probably answer you based on my question and I will not get back this way when you buy a house with someone with whom you have NO LEGAL relationship you need to seek the services of an atty who will draw up a contract detailing EXACTLY what will happen if you break up. Pleae do not be so naive to think it will never happen to you, protect yourselves.

Yes, if there is a deed, and a mortgage indicates deed it is property ownership.

If you are not exactly certain simply ask yourself if you can write off the mortgage interest or not, if you can then you will not qualify for the grant.

Having owned a home, even a trailer, disqualifies you. The trailer is a home.
