My husband and I have had a poor credit history in the past, but he is now working full time and we wish to have an unsecured credit card to start building our credit history. My husband has worked at the same job for 4 years now, and I start work in two weeks. Where do we look for a reputable credit card?

You need to take “small, baby steps” before you can run. Unsecured credit cards for people with recent “poor credit” are far and few in between. Sounds like you might need money mangement and budgeting tools rather than a credit card.
I would go to Capital One.
they are the best
